Domain status and troubleshooting

Your domain moves through these statuses:
- Pending — added, waiting for DNS to be verified.
- Verifying — DNS verified; ready to issue SSL.
- Securing SSL — the certificate is being issued (this is automatic; no action needed, usually a few minutes).
- Active — your domain is live with HTTPS.
- Failed — something went wrong (see below).
If verification fails
Your DNS records aren't pointing to us yet. Double-check that the root and www records exactly match the values shown, then wait for propagation and retry.
If SSL fails
Confirm both DNS records are live and resolve to us, then click Retry SSL. Certificates require your domain to be correctly pointed before they can be issued.
